M.-Sgt. Betzalel Yehoshua Mosbacher succumbs to wounds sustained in battle in southern Gaza
M.-Sgt. Mosbacher, 32, from Avnei Eitan, served as a combat engineer in the 749th Engineering Battalion, in the 828th Infantry Brigade.
Master Sergeant (M.-Sgt.) Betzalel Yehoshua Mosbacher succumbed to his wounds sustained in battle in southern Gaza, the IDF announced Saturday evening.
He was wounded on July 19, 2025.
Mosbacher, 32, from Avnei Eitan, served as a combat engineer in the 749th Engineering Battalion, in the 828th Infantry Brigade.
Family was notified of death
His family was notified of his death. Funeral details will be announced later.
After he was initially wounded in the Strip, he was evacuated by an IAF helicopter to a hospital in central Israel.
"Bezalel was 32 years old, married to Maayan, and father to a young daughter. He worked for the Israel Electric Corporation," a statement from the Golan Regional Council said. "At this difficult hour, the Golan community embraces his wife, Maayan, and their daughter, his parents, Yaakov and Hannah, his siblings, and his entire family."
